MANAGER – INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY – BEACH RESORT – SAN DIEGO
Our client is a beautiful beachside resort situated on the coast with over 14 acres of ocean view real estate. The resort consists of 125 rooms, a golf course, tennis, two swimming pools and three upscale dining venues. It is situated on one of Southern California’s only private beaches. We have been retained to manage their search for a Manager of MIS who will strategically lead the IT function for the business. The position reports to the property Director of Finance.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The IT Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies and priorities for all technology related processes and systems. Maintains software, hardware and network infrastructure including the coordination of all installation/upgrades, maintaining the least amount of work stoppage in a 24/7 work environment. Strengthens relationships and manages contracts with IT related vendors and service providers. Plans for, selects, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates support staff.
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:
Preferred experience in maintenance and administration of Microsoft Windows, Server and Exchange, SQL server, Oracle, Active Directory, VMWare, Great Plains, Proxy server, wireless and internet management, disaster recovery, PCI compliance and Opera Property Management, Micros Point of Sale and Abacus Membership systems. Experience with hospitality programs and previous hotel experience required
COMPENSATION: $70-90,000 plus benefits.
